Our Story
Hi! I am Alex.
I graduated from Michigan State University with Media Arts and Technology degree in 2013 and back then I was always fascinated watching the 3d printers work in the lab. But, unfortunately my major was not able to use them and being a broke college student, I was not able to afford one. Fast forward to 2019, my wife got me my first 3D printer for Christmas. I instantly fell in love with creating things.
Then Covid-19 hit shortly after, I was able help out frontline workers by printing some masks and ear savers. I even worked with Sparrow Hospital, trying to come up with a possible solution for printing masks during the mask shortage.
Since then I have gone from only 1 printer, to currently owning 5 3D printers!
I love creating all sorts of cool things with them from beautiful personalized 3Dprinted lamps and nightlights to creative fan art projects.
My most resent upgrade is a Resin 3D printer. This thing is absolutely incredible!
Unlike my other Creality Printers which are using plastic, the resin printer uses liquid photopolymer resin. A UV laser focused on the surface of the resin precisely draws each layer. Long story short, the quality of products made by resin printer is absolutely amazing!
Overall it’s been already two years of me creating all kinds of prints with 3Dprinters but even after all this time, it still amazes me to see something made in a computer program come into a physical object.
Hello!
I am Anastasiia. And I will be honest with you, I don’t know much about 3D printing and it truly blows my mind how Alex can make these incredible things come to life. I do like to think that I played a role in his 3D printing career since I bought him his first 3Dprinter =)
But all this aside, I am first of all a manager, administrator and content creator for AA Studios 3D Printing and of course since I am also a professional photographer at AA Studios, I help all the clients that come to us for personalized 3Dprinted lamps or nightlights, touch up their images, combine different images into one nightlight/lamp, remove unwanted objects from the photos or restore older photos, and whatever else might needed in terms of photo editing in order to make the Lamps and Nightlights look best when Alex brings them to life.
